Commemorating 300,000 Students: '300K Week - Education Expo' to Be Held
Four Days of Expert Special Lectures
Woowa Brothers, the operator of Baemin (Baedal Minjok), announced on April 29 that the cumulative number of students who have attended the 'Baemin Academy', which opened in 2014, has surpassed 300,000. During this period, the total number of educational sessions, both online and offline, reached 3,884.
Baemin Academy is a food service education program that offers all essential business knowledge, restaurant management theory, practical training, and consulting free of charge. With the vision of solving the concerns of restaurant owners and growing together, the Seoul Center and Gyeonggi Center provide offline education, while live remote classes and online courses are offered for restaurant owners in regions with less accessibility.
To celebrate surpassing 300,000 cumulative students, Baemin will host a series of special lectures titled '300K Week - Education Expo' at the Baemin Academy Seoul Center for four days starting May 26. The event will feature 'Special Classes' with food service experts and renowned chefs, as well as 'Owner Classes' where restaurant owners who have studied and grown through Baemin Academy will share their practical know-how.
The first lecture will be delivered by Yuk Kyunghee, CEO of Sundae Sillok, under the title '10 Billion KRW Annual Revenue: Practical Brand Principles Starting from Sundae.' The next day, Lee Gwangmin, Director of Mind Lab, will give a lecture on 'Resilience for Restaurant Owners to Stay Energized in Business.' On the third day, chefs Yeo Kyungrae and Yeo Kyungok, recognized as leading Chinese cuisine chefs in Korea, will present a lecture on 'The Path of the Food Service Industry as Told by Masters of Chinese Cuisine.'On the final day, during the 'Owner Class,' Kim Junyoung of Yukildon, Lee Chaeun of Pizzaneuban, and Choi Jongwon of Dailyfix?who have achieved growth through Baemin Academy?will each share their personal success strategies under the titles 'Small Store Management Strategies to Turn Local Customers into Loyal Fans,' 'Sales Strategies to Double Conversion Rates,' and 'Know-how for Setting Up Customer Journeys to Increase Sales by 431%,' respectively.
