DB HiTek Reports Q1 Operating Profit of 52.5 Billion KRW, Up 27.8% Year-on-Year
DB HiTek announced on April 28 that its consolidated operating profit for the first quarter of this year was provisionally tallied at 52.5 billion KRW. This represents an increase of 27.8% compared to the same period last year. Revenue came in at 297.4 billion KRW, up 13.7% year-on-year.
DB HiTek explained that its performance improved due to a surge in demand for power semiconductors. This was driven by pre-orders in anticipation of U.S. tariffs, increased domestic production in China, and revitalization of domestic demand. By application sector, sales in automotive and medical devices increased.
