Changwon Special City Enhances Common Competency with Local Subsidy Practical Training
Customized Intensive Training Reflecting the Needs of Local Subsidy Managers
Changwon Special City in South Gyeongsang Province conducted a 'Local Subsidy Practical Training' session for 50 employees at grade 6 or below.
The city reflected the need for subsidy training, which employees commonly identified as necessary in their work, and held small-group intensive sessions for 50 employees each on April 23 and 25, for a total of 100 participants. The instructor was Cho Yangje, CEO of the Public Contract Research Institute, who has relevant expertise and practical experience in the field.
This training aimed to strengthen the capacity of local subsidy managers in the execution and management of local subsidies. The curriculum focused on practical topics, including local subsidy management standards, accounting documentation, how to use the Botam-e system, and examples of audit findings, so that participants could immediately apply what they learned to their work.
In addition, an academic achievement evaluation was applied to this training as well, with the goal of increasing learning concentration. The results will be used as personnel data, thereby organically linking training, competency, and personnel management.
Hong Sunyoung, Director of the Autonomous Administration Bureau, stated, "The direction of our city's training is to foster responsibility and expertise so that employees can perform necessary tasks well. Going forward, we will focus on providing the training that employees want and on further enhancing staff competency."
Meanwhile, Changwon City plans to conduct practical training on private consignment management as part of its common competency training in May.
