View original imageAccording to the Korea Forest Service, authorities from the forest and fire departments declared Level 1 of the wildfire response and mobilized 14 helicopters, 34 fire suppression vehicles, and 191 personnel to fight the blaze.
Level 1 is the "preparation" stage, which notifies residents that evacuation orders may be issued in the future if a wildfire occurs in nearby cities or provinces.
The terrain at the site is rugged, and winds are blowing at a speed of 6 meters per second.
