View original imageAccording to fire authorities, the accident occurred at approximately 12:21 PM on the same day, when a sudden soil collapse buried Mr. A (62) and Mr. B (64) while they were working.
The fire department, which received a report at around 12:27 PM, arrived at the scene at 12:31 PM and began rescue operations. However, the rescue efforts were hampered by concerns about further collapses. The rescue team first rescued Mr. B at 12:54 PM, and fortunately, he was reported to be conscious.
Subsequently, at around 1:57 PM, Mr. A was rescued, but he was in cardiac arrest and had suffered severe facial injuries.
The fire authorities performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on Mr. A and transported him urgently to the hospital.
A fire department official stated, "Despite the risk of additional collapses, the rescue team proceeded with the rescue operations swiftly," adding, "The exact cause of the accident is being investigated by the relevant authorities."
