At approximately 3:16 p.m. on April 25, a sinkhole with a diameter of 20 centimeters and a depth of 1.35 meters appeared on a road in Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.

View original imageNo casualties were reported. After receiving the report, the fire authorities were dispatched and relayed the situation to related agencies, including the police and the district office.
The Gangnam District Office is conducting emergency repairs at the site and is currently investigating the exact cause.
On the same day, at around 3 p.m., a small-scale sinkhole also occurred in an alley in Daehyeong-dong, Mapo-gu.
