The water quality test is first conducted on seven items: turbidity, pH, residual chlorine, iron, copper, zinc, and manganese. If the results exceed the drinking water quality standards set by the 'Regulations on Drinking Water Quality Standards and Testing,' a second test is conducted on a total of thirteen items, including the initial seven, plus color, hardness, general bacteria, total coliforms, chloride ion, and ammonia nitrogen.
Applications can be made online through the Mul Sarang website or by calling the Water and Sewerage Division at the county office. Results will be available within approximately 20 days of the water sampling date, either on the Mul Sarang website or by mail.
County Governor Sim Min stated, "We are strictly adhering to rigorous water quality standards through systematic facility management and scientific water purification so that residents can safely drink tap water." He added, "By allowing residents to directly check the quality of tap water supplied to their homes, we expect to enhance trust and increase the rate of tap water consumption."
