Kumho Tire Launches 'Tire Safety Inspection' Campaign for Trucks and Buses
Held at Four Rest Areas Including Chilgok (Seoul-bound)
Kumho Tire (CEO Jung Iltaek) will conduct a free tire inspection service and a safe driving campaign for large trucks and buses at major highway rest areas across the country for two days starting April 24.
According to Kumho Tire on April 23, this campaign will be held at four highway rest areas nationwide: Songsanpodo (toward Siheung), Yeoju (toward Gangneung), Shintanjin (toward Seoul), and Chilgok (toward Seoul).
Customers visiting these rest areas can receive a comprehensive free safety inspection service from Kumho Tire experts, including checks on tire air pressure and tread wear, as well as balance inspections. In addition, they can receive tire maintenance tips and expert consultations, and small commemorative gifts will be provided to visitors.
While providing tire safety inspection services, Kumho Tire will also promote its truck and bus (TBR) tire products: 'KXA17', 'KRA53', 'KRA60', and 'KXD10+'.
In particular, the new KXA17 is a front tire for medium- and long-distance tractors and cargo vehicles, featuring a new intelligent pattern technology that delivers optimal performance according to required wear characteristics, ensuring excellent performance.
Choi Junseong, Head of Quality Service Team at Kumho Tire, stated, "The safety of long-distance operation for large vehicles starts with tire inspections," and added, "Through this campaign, we hope that drivers will manage tire safety more thoroughly and make a real contribution to accident prevention."
Meanwhile, Kumho Tire conducts free inspection campaigns every year not only for truck and bus tires but also for passenger car tires, and continues activities to raise awareness about tire safety.
