View original imageThe Gwangju Community Chest of Korea announced on April 23 that the Gwangju Donggu Public and Private Childcare Center Association donated 1.5 million won in relief funds to support communities affected by wildfires.
The donated funds were raised by a total of 15 public and private childcare centers in the Donggu area and will be used for wildfire recovery efforts and to support disaster victims.
Song Sunhwa, president of the association, stated, "We participated with the hope that the warm hearts gathered through everyone's contributions will provide great strength," adding, "I also hope that this act of sharing will naturally be passed on to our children."
