Gwangmyeong City Launches "Investment Attraction Committee" with Private Sector Experts

Gwangmyeong City in Gyeonggi Province has launched an "Investment Attraction Committee" composed of private sector experts to attract businesses and strengthen the local industrial ecosystem.

View original imageOn April 22, Gwangmyeong City announced that it held an inauguration ceremony for the "Gwangmyeong City Investment Attraction Committee" at the city’s Lifelong Learning Center and appointed 10 private experts as committee members.
The newly formed Investment Attraction Committee consists of experts with policy and industry field experience in various areas, including investment attraction strategy and international trade, mobility and autonomous driving, and artificial intelligence and biotechnology.
The committee is tasked with presenting directions for establishing the city's future industrial base and attracting businesses, as well as advising on effective policies that reflect changing industry trends and corporate needs.
During the meeting, the city also discussed strategies and specialized measures for attracting companies to the Gwangmyeong Siheung High-Tech Industrial Complex in cooperation with Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Development Corporation (GH).
