Yangju City Launches Integrity Plogging to Promote Clean Public Service
Yangju City in Gyeonggi Province has embarked on practical efforts to establish a culture of integrity within the public sector. According to Yangju City on April 23, the Public Transportation Division has recently conducted the 'Integrity Plogging Campaign' around the city hall area, reaffirming its commitment to both environmental protection and anti-corruption practices.

By having all employees participate in 'plogging'?picking up litter while walking?it aims to strengthen communication and cooperation among staff and to remind them of the importance of integrity as public officials.
On this day, employees collected illegally discarded trash around the Yangju City Hall and took time to pledge their commitment to eradicating abuse of power and corruption. In particular, the campaign, held under the name 'Integrity Plogging Challenge,' was designed to foster a culture of action-oriented participation.
Kim Jihyun, head of the Public Transportation Division, stated, "Activities to create a clean environment are closely linked to the integrity required of public officials," and added, "We will continue to promote various practical programs to realize clean and transparent administration."
