Through various activities such as traditional blacksmithing and laundry experiences, playing the gayageum (a traditional Korean string instrument), reenacting a traditional wedding ceremony, and experiencing rural life, they vividly learned about the lives of ordinary people during the Joseon Dynasty.
The traditional wedding experience, in which students wore traditional wedding attire, and the hands-on activity of playing the gayageum were especially well received by the students. Saenal School stated, "This program provided Koryoin students and multicultural youth who recently arrived in Korea with an opportunity to build understanding and confidence regarding Korean society."
