Comedian Lee Seungyun of "I Am a Natural Person" to Meet Yeongju Citizens
Yeongju Character Academy Lecture
2 p.m. on the 24th at the Citizens' Hall
Yeongju City in North Gyeongsang Province will host the "April Yeongju Character Academy" featuring comedian Lee Seungyun as a guest speaker at 2 p.m. on April 24 at the Yeongju Citizens' Hall.
The theme of this lecture is "The Secrets to a Happy Life Learned from 'Natural Persons'." Lee Seungyun, who has been hosting MBN's "I Am a Natural Person" for 13 years, will share witty anecdotes from his encounters with various natural persons on the show.
Lee Seungyun made his debut as a 21st class KBS public recruitment comedian and gained public recognition through "Gag Concert." Following his appearance on "I Am a Natural Person," he has become especially popular among middle-aged and older audiences. Recently, he has also been leading by example in charitable activities, donating 10 million won to support wildfire recovery efforts in the Gyeongsang and Ulsan regions.
During the lecture, Lee will share his experiences from the early days of the show, when communication with natural persons was challenging. He will deliver messages about breaking down prejudices, building relationships through attentive listening and empathy, and the importance of expression.
Prior to the lecture, a pre-event performance will feature singer Song Suyeong, known for appearances on TV Chosun's "Miss Trot" and "Singing Korea," with a trot stage, as well as a saxophone performance by Jo Junghwa, conductor of the Yeongju Saxophone Orchestra. The lecture is open to all citizens on a first-come, first-served basis without prior registration.
