Asia Cement Introduces AI System in Ready-Mix Concrete Business... "Quality Improvement Effect"
Safety Accidents During Mixer Maintenance Also Prevented
Aseasiment announced on the 16th that it will promote ready-mixed concrete quality innovation activities by adopting 4th industrial revolution technologies.
Aseasiment is considering introducing an artificial intelligence (AI) system into ready-mixed concrete production to minimize slump variation and supply ready-mixed concrete with uniform workability and strength quality. Through this system, the quality of products can be improved with an autonomous ready-mixed concrete production solution, and safety accidents that may occur during mixer maintenance and cleaning can be prevented. This is part of a voluntary response to recent construction site accidents and government measures to strengthen ready-mixed concrete quality, such as pouring in rainy conditions and cold weather pouring.
Aseasiment plans to apply this system to all ready-mixed concrete plants in the future. In addition, it will continue efforts for new changes in the ready-mixed concrete industry by deepening integration with the already established enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, control and shipping systems, cloud-based data analysis, and developing quality prediction functions using AI.
