Gimcheon City Hosts Preliminary Round of the 2nd Gyeongsangbuk-do Senior Model Contest

The preliminary round of the '2nd Gyeongsangbuk-do Senior Model Contest,' hosted by Gimcheon City, organized by the Gimcheon Senior Model Association, and sponsored by Gyeongsangbuk-do, was held on the 11th at Gimcheon Top Wedding Town.
Slow Aging, a nationwide competition to select talented senior models, was held.
View original imageOver 200 participants and associates attended the event, and during the preliminaries, contestants drew attention by demonstrating outstanding stage manners and confidence.
According to Gimcheon City, the contest was organized to help seniors realize their dreams of living a healthy and vibrant second chapter in life. Applications were accepted from March 10 to 31, and as of the 15th, a total of 160 people had applied, including 120 individuals and 3 teams from across the country.
The senior models who participated in the preliminaries showcased their unique styles with confident walks and poses, impressing the judges with their remarkable skills. The stage was filled with energy as senior models of near-professional caliber gathered in one place.
The city plans to hold the final round of the contest at Top Wedding Town on July 4, with 75 individuals and 3 teams who passed the preliminaries advancing to the finals.
Additionally, in September, an outdoor fashion show will be held alongside a gala show, which will be open to everyone without any registration required.
A Gimcheon City official stated, "We hope this contest will help promote Gimcheon more widely, and we will continue to support the senior generation's active participation in society and encourage healthy living."
