Gwangmyeong City to Recruit Participants for Citizen-Participation Learning Program 'Neuseunhakgyo' Until Next Month 15
Gwangmyeong City in Gyeonggi Province is recruiting participants for the citizen-participatory learning activity 'Neuseunhakgyo' until the 15th of next month.
'Neuseunhakgyo' is a form of citizen school where citizens voluntarily create learning spaces to share talents. It operates based on citizens' talent donations and space sharing. Since its inception in 2015, a total of 251 programs have been operated until last year.
Anyone residing in or having their living area in Gwangmyeong City who wishes to share their talents or provide a place that can be used as a learning space can apply.
The application types are ▲ 'Space Type,' which opens one's own space as a learning space ▲ 'Talent Donation Type,' which conducts lectures and meetings on topics they want to share ▲ and 'Complex Type,' which combines space provision and lecture operation. For the Talent Donation Type, the city plans to provide spaces such as the Lifelong Learning Center library and book cafe according to the type of talent donation.
Selected participants will receive a 'Neuseunhakgyo' certification plaque and a simple tea and snack set to accompany their lecture time. They will also receive benefits such as program promotion and recognition of volunteer hours.
