View original imageAccording to the police and fire authorities, at around 8:23 a.m. on the 15th, a pothole appeared on the first lane of the road near Exit 7 of Oksu Station in Seongdong-gu, Seoul. The pothole measures approximately 60cm in width and length, and about 10cm in depth.
The Seongdong District Office covered the pothole with asphalt concrete and completed restoration work by around 9 a.m. There were no casualties or disaster damages caused by the pothole.
A resident of Seongdong-gu said, "With news of sinkholes and potholes occurring daily across the country, seeing a pothole firsthand makes me feel very uneasy."
