Pro Golfer Bang Sin-sil Appointed as Pyeongtaek City Ambassador
Professional golfer Bang Sin-sil, a former national team member, will serve as an ambassador for Pyeongtaek City, Gyeonggi Province.

Bang, who is from Pyeongtaek, was active as a member of the women's national golf team from 2020 to 2022, and debuted in 2022 in the Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA), where she is currently active. Bang is a long hitter, ranking second in average tee shot distance this season. She recorded two wins in 2023 and recently finished as runner-up at the iM Financial Open.
As a native of Pyeongtaek who actively participates in donations and sharing for the local community, Bang will play a role as an ambassador in widely promoting various policies and city administration news of Pyeongtaek, as well as conveying the city's value.
