Busan Office of Education to Enhance Industrial Safety and Health Competencies for Less Experienced Employees
Essential Industrial Safety Training Program for 100 Staff Members
Key On-site Knowledge Delivered Through Lectures and Practical Exercises
The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education (Superintendent Kim Seokjun) will conduct the 'Core Industrial Safety Essentials' training program at the Busan Education Training Institute four times, starting from the 16th, for 100 school and institution staff members responsible for industrial safety and health.
This training aims to enhance the capacity of on-site staff to carry out industrial safety and health tasks through professional education, ultimately to prevent industrial accidents. Considering that most of the staff in charge of industrial safety and health are relatively inexperienced, the office has prioritized them as training participants to maximize the effectiveness of the program.
The training participants will learn about: ▲ the overall framework of the Industrial Safety and Health Act, the Serious Accidents Punishment Act, and other related laws; ▲ preparation and preservation of legally required documents in schools and institutions; ▲ deficiencies and areas for improvement identified during last year's 'Industrial Safety and Health Consulting'; and ▲ workplace inspection methods.
Officials from the Industrial Safety and Health Team of the School Safety Management Division at the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education will serve as instructors, delivering essential on-site knowledge through lectures and practical exercises.
