Showbox to Produce Horror Film "Salmokji" Starring Kim Hye-yoon and Lee Jong-won
Directed by Lee Sangmin, Acclaimed for the Short Film 'Dollimchong'
Distributor Showbox announced on the 15th that the film 'Salmokji (working title)' will begin filming next month. It is a horror film depicting an incident that occurs when the filming crew, who went out to a reservoir to update a road view where an unidentified figure was captured, encounters something underwater. The film stars Kim Hye-yoon, who rose to stardom with the drama 'Seonjae Upgo Twieo,' and Lee Jong-won, known for his roles in historical dramas such as 'Bam-e Pineun Kkot.' The director is Lee Sang-min, who has won numerous awards at film festivals for short films like 'Dollimchong' and 'Hamjinabi.' Production is handled by The Lamp, the company behind 'A Taxi Driver' and 'Samjin Group English TOEIC Class.'
