Public Home Shopping Donates 20 Million Won for Wildfire Damage Recovery Fund
Additional Donations Planned Through Employee Fundraising Until the 23rd
Public Home Shopping announced on the 15th that it donated 20 million KRW to the Korean Red Cross to aid in the recovery from the wildfires that occurred last month.
The donation will be used to support the restoration of areas severely affected by the wildfires and for emergency relief activities for disaster victims. In addition to the donation, voluntary fundraising by employees will also be conducted. The funds collected by the 23rd will be delivered to the Korean Red Cross through the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.
A Public Home Shopping official stated, "We extend our deepest condolences to the residents of the affected areas who are facing difficulties due to the wildfire damage," and "we hope that the sincere efforts of our employees will provide even a little help."

Meanwhile, Public Home Shopping continues to carry out various social contribution activities for disaster recovery. So far, through the Korean Red Cross, it has donated over 100 million KRW cumulatively, including aid for wildfire victims in Gangwon and Gyeongbuk, assistance for typhoon victims in Pohang, support for recovery in Turkey and Syria, and donations for fire damage recovery at Seocheon Special Market.
