Korea Student Aid Foundation Donates 5.33 Million Won in Relief Funds for Wildfire Victims
The Korea Student Aid Foundation (Chairman Bae Byungil) announced on the 14th that its executives and employees voluntarily raised 5.33 million KRW in donations, which were delivered to the Daegu Community Chest of Korea to support recovery efforts and aid for victims in areas recently affected by large-scale wildfires in the Yeongnam region.
This donation was made through the voluntary participation of all executives and employees to join in overcoming a national disaster and to fulfill the foundation's social responsibility and value of regional coexistence as a public institution. The funds will be used for the restoration of wildfire-affected areas in Yeongnam and for emergency livelihood support.
The Korea Student Aid Foundation also plans to donate relief supplies such as bedding, daily necessities, and food to support the recovery of wildfire victims in the affected areas.
Bae Byungil, Chairman of the Korea Student Aid Foundation, stated, "We decided to participate in this donation to share the pain of local residents who are suffering from the sudden wildfires," and added, "We hope that the small contributions from our executives and employees can provide some comfort to the residents in the affected areas."
