Gangbuk-gu Creates Screen Park Golf Course at Gangbuk Sports Complex Center
Gangbuk-gu, Seoul (Mayor Lee Soon-hee) announced on the 14th that it plans to create a 'Screen Park Golf Course' where people can enjoy park golf regardless of the weather or season.
Although the demand for park golf has been steadily increasing recently, Gangbuk-gu has faced difficulties securing outdoor park golf course sites because about 57% of the district's total area is designated as park green space.
Accordingly, the district decided to promote the installation of indoor park golf courses as an alternative to outdoor courses by utilizing idle spaces within district-owned buildings such as the Gangbuk Sports Complex and the Gangbuk Culture and Arts Center.
