During Class, Seoul High School Student Assaults Teacher After Game Criticism
At a high school in Seoul, a student assaulted a teacher who reprimanded them for playing games during class.
According to the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education on the 10th, around 10 a.m. that day, a third-year high school student at a high school located in Sinjeong-dong, Yangcheon-gu, Seoul, struck the teacher's face with a hand holding a mobile phone.

The teacher had pointed out the student playing games on their phone during class, and after a scuffle, was assaulted. The school immediately separated the student and the teacher and reported the incident to the Education Support Office. Furthermore, the case is expected to be handled according to the procedures of the local Teacher Rights Protection Committee.
