YG Jobbada: Online Recruitment Platform for Yeosu and Gwangyang Ports Now Open
Promoting Local Employment Opportunities
Yeosu Gwangyang Port Authority (President Park Sunghyun, hereafter referred to as the Authority) and the Gwangyang Chamber of Commerce and Industry announced that they will operate the online recruitment platform "YG Jobbada" on a regular basis starting from the 10th, connecting local companies with job seekers through their collaboration.
The online recruitment platform "YG Jobbada" is a term that means "a port overflowing with jobs like the sea in Yeosu and Gwangyang." Last year, through pilot and expanded operations, a total of 154 companies posted 1,350 job openings via YG Jobbada.
Following last year, the Authority and the Gwangyang Chamber of Commerce and Industry have reflected operational results and user feedback, and have signed a business agreement to operate the recruitment platform on a regular basis from this year. They will continue to recruit participating companies throughout the year to promote job creation.
With the transition to regular operation, companies participating in YG Jobbada can receive year-round free recruitment support services, such as job posting promotions through the nation’s largest recruitment platform, talent pool searches, and APP PUSH notifications.
President Park Sunghyun stated, "I am pleased that the online recruitment platform YG Jobbada, which was launched to connect local companies and job seekers, will now be operated on a regular basis. Together with the Gwangyang Chamber of Commerce and Industry, we will strive to make this platform one that provides jobs to job seekers and helps companies secure talent."
