Chonnam National University Department of Emergency Medical Technology Advances to Finals as National Runner-Up in Skills Competition

View original imageThe Department of Emergency Medical Technology at Gwangju University (President Kim Dongjin) announced on the 10th that it advanced to the finals by winning second place nationwide in the "38th Technical Competition Special Performance in the Emergency Medical Services Field (Student Division)" held recently at the Central Fire Service Academy.
This technical competition, held under the theme of "Chest Compressions and Artificial Respiration (5 Cycles)," featured teams from 30 universities across the country. In the preliminary round, the Gwangju University Emergency Medical Technology team (students Kim Suyeon, Kim Minseung, and Baek Gaeun, supervised by Professor Moon Seongmo) scored 155 out of a possible 160 points, earning a spot in the finals, which is given to the top eight universities. The finals are scheduled for June 17.
Kim Suyeon, a participant, said, "I am happy that the time spent practicing and working hard with my teammates has paid off with a good result. I am grateful to the professors who guided us in every way. We will prepare diligently and aim to win a prize in the finals."
Professor Moon Seongmo said, "The students' consistent practice and teamwork truly shone. We will prepare to demonstrate even more advanced emergency medical skills in the finals."
