Chosun University Holds Department Briefing Session in Preparation for Glocal University

View original imageChosun University (President Kim Chunseong) announced on the 10th that it held the "2025 Glocal University Innovation Plan Departmental Briefing and Public Hearing."
The public hearing, held on the 9th at the Daehonjeon Hall of Chosun University, was attended by Vice President Jeon Jeyul, key university administrators, deans of colleges, department heads, and about 100 professors.
The main agenda of the public hearing included: ▲ Presentation of the Glocal University promotion plan and key contents of the innovation plan ▲ Academic structure reform proposal ▲ Direction for establishing integrated governance among Chosun University, Chosun Institute of Science and Technology, and Chosun Nursing College ▲ Q&A session.
Since last year, Chosun University has been laying the foundation for the "2025 Glocal University Success Strategy" innovation through cooperation with Gwangju City and various internal and external stakeholders. In particular, the university is concretizing a "Well-Aging Specialized Model" to address local community issues such as extending healthy life expectancy in the era of aging, fostering age-friendly and senior care industries.
Vice President Jeon Jeyul stated, "Innovation in the well-aging sector tailored to the aging era is an important mission for Chosun University," and requested, "I ask for the interest and cooperation of all members to strengthen Chosun University's unique competitiveness."
