According to Hampyeong County on the 10th, residents of Nasanmyeon are participating in the "Clean Nasanmyeon Initiative" to provide a pleasant festival environment for visitors. This campaign aims to offer a clean and safe environment for tourists coming to Hampyeong for the festival and camping. The cleanup and facility inspections are focused around the Nasangang Public Camping Site, which attracts about 6,700 camping vehicles annually.
On the 8th, the Nasanmyeon Rural Women's Association kicked off the first activity, and local institutions and social organizations will take turns participating in various activities such as collecting trash, environmental maintenance, and facility inspections.
With the recent increase in visitors to the Nasangang Public Camping Site, the county is intensifying facility management, and this large-scale cleanup is expected to further enhance the area's appeal as a tourist destination.
In addition, a total project budget of 13 billion KRW is currently being invested in the development of the Nasangang Public Camping Site. Upon completion, Nasanmyeon is expected to make significant progress as a year-round stay-type tourist destination.
Jung Seok, head of Nasanmyeon, stated, "We are working together with local residents to create a cleaner and more comfortable tourism environment," adding, "We will make Nasanmyeon a place that leaves a good impression on visitors and makes them want to return."
