KCC Imposes Legal Sanctions on 'MBC News High Kick'... Court Orders "Cancel It"
The Korea Communications Commission (KCC) won the lawsuit filed by Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) radio to cancel the disciplinary action imposed on it.
On the 10th, the Seoul Administrative Court Administrative Division 13 (Presiding Judge Jin Hyun-seop) ruled in favor of the plaintiff in the lawsuit filed by MBC against the KCC, requesting the cancellation of the disciplinary action.
Previously, in the December 11, 2023 broadcast of MBC Radio's News High Kick, regarding the resignation of Kim Ki-hyun, then leader of the People Power Party, Lee Eon-ju, then a member of the People Power Party, commented that "only the president's henchmen remain." In response, the KCC imposed disciplinary measures on the parties involved, and MBC filed an administrative lawsuit challenging this.
