Regarding the proposal for a full open primary system, she explained, "This is a plan that emerged after much deliberation as a way to ensure an overwhelming victory for the forces defending democratic constitutionalism," and added, "It is a primary method we proposed while considering the role of the Cho Kuk Innovation Party." She further stated, "In reality, with Lee Jaemyung of the Democratic Party declaring his candidacy, it does not seem the primary will be easy," and said, "We will be able to speak about our plans after further discussions."
