Busan Port Authority Launches '2025 Port Innovation Public Proposal' Contest
Recruiting Innovative Ideas in Three Key Areas... Seven Final Proposals to Be Selected
Busan Port Authority (BPA) will hold the "2025 Port Innovation National Proposal Contest" from April 10 to May 7.
This contest is seeking creative and innovative ideas in three main areas: △Improvement of port services using advanced technology △Reduction of safety accidents and disaster response capabilities △Social contribution to the local community.
Anyone in the country can participate. Those interested can check the application documents on the BPA website, fill them out, and submit them via the contest's designated email address.
To ensure fair and professional evaluation, BPA will form a judging panel consisting of internal staff and external experts. The panel will select a total of seven outstanding innovation proposals, including one grand prize, three excellence awards, and three encouragement awards. After a verification period, the winners will be announced in early June.
The final winning proposals will be linked to the authority's 2025 innovation projects and implemented accordingly.
Further details regarding the judging process, award scale, and other specifics about the contest can be found on the official website.
Song Sanggeun, President of BPA, stated, "For the innovation of Busan Port operations and the sustainable development of the port community, it is essential to share ideas that our citizens and port workers experience in their daily lives and at the port site," adding, "We ask for your keen interest and active participation so that we can bring about positive changes that port users can truly feel through practical, field-oriented innovation."
