The 'Win-Win Growth Fund' will be established and operated with a total scale of 143 billion KRW this year. It is a system that provides funds to partner companies at interest rates lower than those of commercial banks. So far, 113 partner companies have used this fund, with a total support amount reaching 240 billion KRW. The 'Smart Factory Construction Support' program, now in its fifth year, is also being operated. This system supports up to 60% of construction costs for partner companies struggling with factory automation due to high expenses.
LG Innotek also plans to actively strengthen the ESG capabilities of its partners. This year, the number of partner companies eligible for ESG support will be significantly expanded to 50, nearly double that of the previous year. LG Innotek will provide consulting to help partners effectively respond to global ESG management demands, and support the establishment of systems to prepare for global regulations such as sustainable supply chain audit guidelines and the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism.
Education to enhance partner competitiveness is also underway. In 2023, LG Innotek newly established the 'Partner Capability Enhancement Training Center' and is conducting on-site practical training such as transferring production technology know-how and dispatching experts. Last year, 468 people from 64 partner companies completed the education program, receiving enthusiastic responses. This year, the number of partner companies targeted for education will be expanded to 85, an increase of more than 30%.
