The video message is about 10 minutes long and was inspired by documentary programs, Lee's camp explained. They said the filming took place after the dismissal decision of former President Yoon Seok-youl.
On the morning of the 11th, Lee plans to announce his vision as a presidential candidate and the appointments for his campaign team at the National Assembly Communication Office. Lee's camp explained that the reason for choosing the Communication Office as the venue was because it is a symbolic place that respects the National Assembly as the hall of the people's will and values harmony among political parties and communication with the media.

Earlier that day, Lee resigned from his position as party leader and officially entered the presidential race. At the Supreme Council meeting held at the National Assembly in Yeouido, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, Lee said, "I am grateful to have been able to serve as party leader for three years, achieving some results," adding, "Now, I will start a new chapter."
