Korea Tax Accountants Association and Tax Accountants Public Interest Foundation Donate 300 Million Won for Wildfire Relief Fund

View original imageThe Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association (Chairman Song Pil-ho) announced on the 9th that the Korean Association of Tax Accountants (Chairman Koo Jae-ee) and the Korean Association of Tax Accountants Public Interest Foundation (Chairman Jung Goo-jung) have donated a total of 300 million KRW to support wildfire damage recovery and aid for disaster victims. Of this amount, 200 million KRW was raised by the Korean Association of Tax Accountants, and 100 million KRW by the Public Interest Foundation.
The donation from the Korean Association of Tax Accountants was raised through a fundraising campaign conducted from March 28 to April 4, initiated by Chairman Koo Jae-ee upon hearing Hope Bridge’s urgent call for donations. Approximately 2,100 members voluntarily participated, showing their warm support.
Koo Jae-ee, Chairman of the Korean Association of Tax Accountants, stated, "This wildfire was a national disaster that all citizens watched with sorrow, and the members of the Tax Accountants Association united with warm hearts to contribute. I hope this sincerity will provide even a small help toward the recovery of the affected areas and the return to daily life for the disaster victims."
Jung Goo-jung, Chairman of the Korean Association of Tax Accountants Public Interest Foundation, said, "We extend our deepest condolences to neighbors who lost their homes due to the wildfire, and sincerely thank Hope Bridge for leading the recovery efforts in the affected areas. We hope this donation will be a practical help for the neighbors’ return to normal life."
