View original imageOn the 8th, the Ministry of Justice stated, "Acting Minister Kim instructed the prosecution to conduct fair and swift investigations into election-related offenses and to establish legal order," adding, "Since this election is being held under the grave circumstances of a presidential vacancy due to an impeachment ruling and with the public's focused attention, the prosecution was directed to promptly switch to an election preparedness system."
Acting Minister Kim ordered the prosecution to thoroughly crack down on major election offenses such as the dissemination of false information and black propaganda that undermine voters' proper judgment, bribery, and election-related violence, and to ensure that a fair election atmosphere is established from the early stages of the election through neutral attitudes and law-based fair law enforcement.
