Hwaseong-si "Strengthening Administrative Innovation through Generative AI Utilization in All Departments"
Pilot Project for Usage Fee Support Begins This Month
Integration into Document Creation, Data Analysis, and Policy Research
Hwaseong City in Gyeonggi Province is strengthening administrative innovation through the use of 'generative artificial intelligence (AI)' across all departments.
On the 7th, Hwaseong City announced that starting this month, it will promote the 'Generative AI Usage Fee Support Project' targeting all departments to enhance public officials' AI utilization capabilities and improve work efficiency. The city will support the Chat GPT team license usage fees for a certain period to departments that wish to participate.
Each department is expected to use this to integrate AI technology into various administrative tasks such as document creation, data analysis, and policy research, reducing the burden of repetitive work and enabling creative and strategic task execution, the city said.
Along with supporting usage fees, the city plans to increase AI utilization by providing basic and advanced generative AI training for public officials. In particular, it will collect usage cases by department to share with all employees and expand excellent cases, thereby continuously expanding AI-based administrative innovation.
