According to the Gwangju Regional Meteorological Administration, the area will be on the edge of a high-pressure system moving from the West Sea to the East Sea, resulting in mostly clear skies with occasional clouds.
Morning low temperatures will be 1°C in Boseong, 2°C in Gangjin, Goheung, Jangseong, Damyang, Gokseong, Naju, and Yeongam, 3°C in Hampyeong, Yeonggwang, Muan, Jindo, and Gurye, 4°C in Suncheon, Mokpo, and Wando, 5°C in Gwangju and Gwangyang, and 6°C in Yeosu.
Daytime high temperatures will be 18°C in Gwangju and Gurye, 17°C in Jangseong, Damyang, Hwasun, and Naju, 16°C in Yeongam, Suncheon, Gwangyang, Jangheung, and Gangjin, 15°C in Muan, Hampyeong, Yeonggwang, Haenam, Wando, and Goheung, 14°C in Mokpo, and 13°C in Shinan, Jindo, and Yeosu, making for mild weather.
Waves on the West and South Seas will be calm at 0.5 meters. Fine dust levels are expected to be 'moderate,' while ultrafine dust will be 'bad' in the morning but improve to 'moderate' in the afternoon.
A Gwangju Meteorological Administration official said, "Temperatures are expected to remain around average for the time being, but due to the large temperature differences and the possibility of frost damage, please pay attention to crop management and fire prevention."
