View original imageThe Honam University Startup Incubation Center (Director Kim Younghyun) announced on the 2nd that it received an excellent grade in last year's Startup Incubation Center Management Evaluation by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.
This evaluation was conducted for 244 startup incubation centers nationwide, and the Honam University Startup Incubation Center was recognized for its outstanding management performance and the excellence of its startup support programs, particularly in business support achievements and internal/external networking activities.
The Honam University Startup Incubation (BI) Center operates a variety of programs to foster a startup ecosystem, providing practical assistance to resident companies and entrepreneurs through entrepreneurship education, mentoring, and investment attraction support.
Accordingly, the Honam University Startup Incubation Center has secured business support funds from the Ministry of SMEs and Startups to support resident companies within the center. It plans to actively support resident companies by establishing customized support systems for management, marketing, and technology development and by operating systematic incubation programs.
Kim Younghyun, Director of the Honam University Center, stated, "To promote the growth and development of resident companies, we plan to carry out various projects in cooperation with the Gwangju-Jeonnam Regional Office of SMEs and Startups, Gwangsan District Office, Gwangju Technopark, Gwangsan District Business Doctor Center, and Honam University RISE Project Team to support prospective entrepreneurs and startups." He added, "Based on this, we will strengthen support for resident companies so that this year's achievements can be realized, focusing on industry-academia cooperation, attracting investment, exports, job creation, and increasing sales to support the growth of our resident companies."
