Dongwon Home Food Expands Vivid Kitchen Lineup... Launches 'Low-Sugar Prune Drink'
Fruit and Vegetable Beverage Containing Prune Extract
20-30% Sugar Compared to Similar Products
Dongwon Home Food is expanding the lineup of its diet management specialty brand 'Vivid Kitchen,' known for its low-sugar and low-calorie sauces.
On the 2nd, Dongwon Home Food announced the launch of the 'Vivid Kitchen Low-Sugar Prune Drink.'
The 'Vivid Kitchen Low-Sugar Prune Drink' is a fruit and vegetable beverage containing prune extract, designed to support both gut health and diet management. One pack (200g) contains 6g of sugar and 65 kcal, which is about 20-30% of comparable products in the same category.
Although sugar and calories are reduced by using alternative sweeteners, the original taste of prune is fully preserved. It also contains 'indigestible maltodextrin,' known to aid bowel movements. Indigestible maltodextrin is a soluble dietary fiber and a functional health ingredient that may help promote smooth bowel movements and suppress postprandial blood sugar spikes.
Through the launch of the low-sugar prune drink, Dongwon Home Food plans to strengthen its beverage product line and reinforce the position of its diet management specialty brand. Since its launch in 2020, Vivid Kitchen has introduced various low-sugar and low-calorie sauces. In 2023, it entered the beverage category by releasing two types of 'Low-Sugar Latte' and two types of 'Zero Ade.'
