Sampyo Group Donates 200 Million Won for Large Wildfire Damage Recovery
Sampyo Group announced on the 1st that it has donated 200 million KRW to aid recovery efforts for the large-scale wildfire damage that occurred in the Gyeongbuk, Gyeongnam, and Ulsan regions.
Sampyo Group delivered the donation through the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association to promptly support the disaster victims. The donation will be used for recovery projects, emergency daily necessities support, and provision of temporary housing in the wildfire-affected areas of Gyeongbuk, Gyeongnam, and Ulsan, which have been declared special disaster zones.

Sampyo Group has participated in sharing the pain whenever national disasters such as wildfires occur. Sampyo Cement, the group's main affiliate, donated 200 million KRW in March 2022 to support disaster victims from wildfires that occurred in the East Coast areas including Samcheok City, Gangwon Province.
