Hampyeong County Offers Incentives to Travel Agencies for Attracting Tourists to the Butterfly Festival
Hampyeong County in Jeollanam-do announced on the 31st that it will provide incentive rewards to support the successful hosting of the 27th Hampyeong Butterfly Festival.
The 27th Hampyeong Butterfly Festival will be held from April 25 to May 6. During this period, Hampyeong County will provide a 25% incentive reward to travel agencies and chartered bus operators that attract group tourists.
This incentive reward has been prepared to revitalize the festival site and boost the local economy by attracting group tourists. The support is targeted at domestic travel agencies and chartered bus operators who attract at least 20 paying tourists, and the payment amount is 25% of the admission fee.
Travel agencies or chartered bus operators wishing to receive support should submit the incentive reward application form and receipt at the payment counter set up at the drive-in theater ticket booth in the Hwangso-ui Mun parking lot (Parking Lot 1) during the 27th Hampyeong Butterfly Festival.
County Governor Lee Sangik said, "We have prepared the incentive reward so that more tourists can visit Hampyeong with the cooperation of travel agencies and chartered bus operators," and added, "We will actively support the festival to boost the local economy and ensure its success through mutual cooperation."
