The rice cakes bore Kim's name along with the phrase, "Protecting the President is protecting the Republic of Korea. Our future, youth, fighting."
On the same day, at an anti-impeachment rally for President Yoon led by the Liberty Unification Party and others, Kim's lawyer took the stage to reveal 'Kim Yong-hyun's prison letter.' In the letter, Kim stated, "We must fight to the end against the power created by pro-North and traitorous factions to protect freedom," and added, "Justice that does not act is not justice. Let us unite our strength and fight vigorously to the end."
Kim has recently been releasing prison letters one after another to rally his supporters. A representative example is a letter sent on the 7th to Bae In-gyu, head of the New Male Solidarity, in which he seemingly referred to university students supporting President Yoon's impeachment as a 'group of evil.' Additionally, on the 1st of this month, he named Constitutional Court justices and called for their "punishment."
Furthermore, Kim's side is conducting a signature campaign requesting a national audit to exonerate military commanders who were arrested and indicted on charges related to the declaration of martial law. They shared a document file titled 'National Audit Request Signature Sheet,' stating, "At Kim's request, we are filing a national audit with the Board of Audit and Inspection to prevent human rights violations against commanders who were unjustly detained. Let us rescue the commanders, who have become prisoners of the enemies, with our own hands."
