The Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education announced on the 31st that it held a briefing session on the High School Credit System for parents at the Suncheonman Ecological Culture Education Center.
This briefing session, under the theme "Everything about the High School Credit System! The Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education Explains Directly," was organized to help parents understand the High School Credit System, which is being fully implemented for first-year high school students starting this year.

View original imageDuring the session, officials from the Office of Education provided direct explanations focusing on key topics such as the features of the High School Credit System, changes in schools after its full implementation, guidance to ensure minimum achievement levels, support for the operation of the system in Jeonnam, and an understanding of the 2022 revised curriculum.
The Office of Education is operating regional briefing sessions so that parents from all areas can choose a convenient time and location to attend. Starting with Suncheon, sessions will continue in Hwasun (Hanium Culture Sports Center) and Mokpo (Mokpo International Football Center) on the 1st of next month.
Park Cheolwan, Director of Secondary Education, stated, "The High School Credit System is an essential change that respects the diversity of each and every student and fosters the competencies needed for the future society," adding, "We will do our best to ensure the successful implementation of the system in schools through cooperation among schools, teachers, and parents."
