Police: "Support for 'Democratic Party Tent Office Removal' upon Local Government Request"
Acting Commissioner of the National Police Agency Lee Ho-young stated on the 31st that regarding the Democratic Party's tent headquarters, "Local governments are dismantling the tents, and if a request is made, we plan to support with police forces."
At a regular press briefing that day, Acting Commissioner Lee said, "As far as I know, no official request has been made yet."
Regarding the illegality of the tent headquarters, Acting Commissioner Lee said, "It is under the jurisdiction of the local government, and it is appropriate for them to make that judgment."
