Families of Ambassadors from 12 Countries Visiting Everland Praise Tulip Festival
Thirty-three family members of ambassadors from 12 countries residing in Korea visited Everland, operated by Samsung C&T Resort Division, to experience the spring flower gardens and Korean garden culture.
According to Everland on the 29th, families of ambassadors from the Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Mexico, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Ireland, Ukraine, Colombia, Peru, and Australia visited the tulip festival, a representative spring event.
This visit was arranged by Joan Mitchell van der Fleet, wife of the Dutch ambassador to Korea from the "land of tulips," to introduce Korea's spring to the families of various embassies.

View original imageThey admired the blooming spring flowers such as tulips, daffodils, and muscari in the Four Seasons Garden, enjoyed garden walks and photo sessions mingling with citizens. Additionally, through Everland's Garden Pass, they experienced Korean garden culture more deeply with docent tours and bonsai-making activities along the Sky Garden Path, where plum blossoms were in full bloom.
Joan Mitchell van der Fleet, wife of the Dutch ambassador to Korea, said, "It was meaningful to learn about Korea's beautiful and diverse four-season garden culture at Everland," and added, "I hope this will be an opportunity for Korea's unique garden culture to become known worldwide."

Everland's Tulip Festival attracted attention with collaborations with Sanrio Characters and a composition of about 1.2 million spring flowers of over 100 species, drawing more than 150,000 visitors within nine days of opening.
