Yangju City Announces Recruitment for '2025 Outstanding Successor Agricultural Manager Project' Candidates

Yangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kang Su-hyun) announced on the 29th that it is recruiting candidates for the '2025 Excellent Successor Agricultural Manager Project' to support the management stability and expansion of farming scale for farmers and fishermen. The application period is until April 16.
The 'Excellent Successor Agricultural Manager Support Project' is a program that provides low-interest loans for expenses necessary for agricultural and livestock management, which can be used for ▲land purchase ▲facility installation ▲quota purchase ▲other project expenses.
The support limit is up to 200 million KRW, with a fixed interest rate of 1.5% per year, and repayment is made in installments over 10 years after a 5-year grace period from the loan date.
The eligible applicants are farmers who have been engaged in farming for more than 5 years after being selected as 'Successor Agricultural Managers.'

A Yangju City official stated, "Even if selected as an Excellent Successor Agricultural Manager, the loan amount may vary or the loan may not be executed depending on the individual's collateral value and credit status," and added, "We will do our best to ensure that many farmers can receive support."
