Sangmyung University Signs RISE Promotion Agreement with Cheonan Office of Education
Promise for Regional Education Development and Nurturing Future Talent

View original imageSangmyung University Chungnam Innovation Center signed an agreement with the Cheonan Office of Education on the 28th to activate the university support system (RISE) and strengthen the local education ecosystem.
According to the agreement, the two institutions will jointly develop region-specific educational programs and linkage programs for youth career exploration and selection by connecting regular and after-school curricula for elementary, middle, and high schools.
In addition, they plan to promote joint projects such as: ▲Development and operation of region-specific educational programs ▲Strengthening youth career exploration and university linkage programs ▲Joint use of educational infrastructure and research facilities ▲Operation of creative and convergent curricula ▲Joint projects to promote the development of local education and activate regional cooperation research.
An Beomjun, Vice President for Academic Affairs, stated, "This agreement will be a new turning point for regional education linkage," and added, "We will continue to work closely with the local community to nurture future talent."
Lee Byungdo, Superintendent of Education, said, "We expect to expand youth career exploration opportunities and achieve qualitative growth in local education together with Sangmyung University," adding, "We will accelerate student-centered educational innovation."
