Relief Supplies Worth 350 Million KRW Also Donated
The Community Chest of Korea announced on the 28th that Atomy, a mid-sized distribution company, donated 10 billion KRW and relief supplies worth 350 million KRW to support wildfire damage relief efforts in the Yeongnam region.
Park Han-gil, Chairman of Atomy, said, "I hope this can be of some help to those who are currently fighting the wildfire and to the victims who have lost their homes due to the worst wildfire in history." He added, "Atomy, together with its 3 million members, will continue to share and support disaster and calamity recovery efforts." The 10 billion KRW donation from Atomy is reported to be the highest single donation amount for disaster relief funds received by the Community Chest of Korea to date.

This donation will be used for relief and recovery in wildfire-affected areas, providing daily necessities and housing support for victims, and supporting recovery for child care facilities damaged in Gyeongnam. Relief supplies worth 350 million KRW, including bottled water, wet wipes, ramen, and soy milk, will be used to support wildfire suppression personnel.
