Dongnae-gu Senior Welfare Center, Entrusted by Silla University, Receives 'A Grade' in Ministry of Health and Welfare Evaluation
Dongnae-gu Senior Welfare Center, operated by Silla University (President Hur Namsik), has received an A grade in all evaluation areas in the "2024 Social Welfare Facilities (Senior Welfare Centers) Assessment" organized by the Ministry of Health and Welfare.
The Ministry of Health and Welfare conducts evaluations every three years for each type of social welfare facility in accordance with the "Social Welfare Services Act."
The assessment covers five areas: △Facility and Environment △Finance and Organization Management △Programs and Services △Users' Rights △Overall Facility Operation. The evaluation aims to check the stability of facility operations and the quality of services, assigning one of five grades to each facility type.
Out of 240 senior welfare centers nationwide, only 29 received an A grade in all five areas, including Dongnae-gu Senior Welfare Center.
Dongnae-gu Senior Welfare Center has achieved this result by continuously striving to improve community welfare through various senior welfare programs such as social education, health promotion, home care services, and day care and home visit care services, enabling seniors to enjoy a healthy and fulfilling later life.
