Kiwoom Securities "Buy US Treasury Bonds and Get Up to 30,000 Won"
Kiwoom Securities announced on the 28th that it will hold an 'Overseas Bond Event' for customers investing in U.S. Treasury bonds and dollar-denominated Korean corporate bonds (Korean Paper) until June 26.
During the event period, customers who purchase U.S. Treasury bonds and KP bonds with a face value of $1,000 or more can receive benefits. If the purchase amount is between $1,000 and less than $10,000, a Shinsegae gift certificate worth 10,000 KRW will be given, and if it is $10,000 or more, a Shinsegae gift certificate worth 30,000 KRW will be awarded.
U.S. Treasury bonds are bonds issued by the U.S. government and are considered one of the safest assets. KP bonds refer to bonds issued overseas in foreign currency by Korean public enterprises or financial institutions.
A Kiwoom Securities official said, “This event was organized to increase interest in U.S. Treasury bonds and KP bonds and to expand the base of overseas bond investment. For investors who want to diversify their assets in dollars as well as Korean won, U.S. Treasury bonds will be a good alternative.” This overseas bond event has no limit on the number of winners, so any Kiwoom Securities customer who meets the purchase amount can receive the benefits.
